Juston's Birthday

We all went out to eat at Friendly's for Juston's Birthday. It was fun to celebrate with everyone.... ok almost everyone.

Juston got a great big ice cream... and then they came and sang to him!
 The kids had a blast
Jayden sure looks like he's up to something...

Baby Shower

My family in NY threw me a baby shower. It was so fun. Thanks to everyone who came and helped, we're almost ready for this little boy to get here!!!

I made Mindy and Andrea sit next to me to help me get the gifts and record what I got... they had me front and center all by myself!
This is some family visiting before the shower started.

8 Months Already!!!

Ok so today is the 9th of December... which means Juston and I have been married for 8 months! I can't believe it, married life is flying by. We have been soo blessed and we'd like to thank everyone of you for helping us get to where we are today. Yes and for those of you counting... we are expecting our little boy in just over 5 weeks :) We can't wait.

Anyways, here are some pictures from our wedding. I haven't posted any of them, so I figured now is the perfect time. These are just the ones from Salt Lake... NY ones to come!

Fall

We went to The Cider Mill!!! It is this great place that always has the best donuts, cider, and candy apples. They even make the donuts and cider in front of you so you can watch through the window. Unfortunately, they weren't making any so we'll have to go back so we can watch, but we did get our pumpkins!

The end result! Juston's is a cat on a fence with a moon and cloud for its eyes. The middle one is for the little one. Mine is a witch on a broomstick.

My belly!

Juston helped my dad rake the leaves. So we jumped in the pile... ok I may not have jumped.

DC

One weekend Juston and I decided to take the 6 hour trip to DC... or so we thought. I thought it would be 5 and 1/2 to the hotel! That's not bad at all. So we were on our way.

Shortly after we started our journey.... we found traffic, and lots of accidents. Our 5 and 1/2 hour trip turned into 10 hours! It felt like forever. We finally got to our hotel around 11 that night. We slept very well that night :)

The next morning we started nice and early so we could get to all the places we wanted to go. Unfortunately we should have looked so see when the museums were opening, because we were a half hour early. However, we got some great pictures outside!

Another picture of us at the national mall with the capital building on my head.

This was probably Juston's favorite stop. It was the air and space museum. It was really cool to see the Russian things there. We found 2 Russian guys and Juston had a great time listening to their conversation.

So I can't figure out how to turn this picture... but this is me exhausted in the art museum... about a half hour into our day.

If you look to the right side you'll find Juston peaking through the window.

Saturday evening we had the opportunity to go to the temple. As we drove around DC all of a sudden the temple appeared in front of us. It is beautiful.

Even the little one was able to go in!

We decided to hang around outside after our session, probably the safest place to be at night in DC.

Before we left on Sunday we decided to stop at the Arlington National Cemetery. It was very moving to see the number of people that have died fighting for our freedom. Juston and I realized how blessed we are to living here.

This is just one side of the pentagon. Sorry it's kind of hard to take a picture of that :)

Growing Belly

So I hear lots of people want to see this picture. Sorry it has taken me so long to put up, and I look exhausted in this picture... it was after a 6 hour road trip with my mom :). This was taken Sunday night so that was September 19th. Today I am 23 weeks! Pretty crazy how fast it has been going. Just last week Juston felt the little guy moving! It was a really cool experience. I read today that the little one can now feel when we dance and can hear music! That means lots of dancing :) I'll try to keep you updated with lots more pictures in the coming months.

Starting a blog!!!

Juston and I... ok I decided to start a blog. Seemed like the appropriate thing to do when we're going to have a baby. I hope I stay on top of this, and I hope you all enjoy.
