Fall

We went to The Cider Mill!!! It is this great place that always has the best donuts, cider, and candy apples. They even make the donuts and cider in front of you so you can watch through the window. Unfortunately, they weren't making any so we'll have to go back so we can watch, but we did get our pumpkins!

The end result! Juston's is a cat on a fence with a moon and cloud for its eyes. The middle one is for the little one. Mine is a witch on a broomstick.

My belly!

Juston helped my dad rake the leaves. So we jumped in the pile... ok I may not have jumped.

DC

One weekend Juston and I decided to take the 6 hour trip to DC... or so we thought. I thought it would be 5 and 1/2 to the hotel! That's not bad at all. So we were on our way.

Shortly after we started our journey.... we found traffic, and lots of accidents. Our 5 and 1/2 hour trip turned into 10 hours! It felt like forever. We finally got to our hotel around 11 that night. We slept very well that night :)

The next morning we started nice and early so we could get to all the places we wanted to go. Unfortunately we should have looked so see when the museums were opening, because we were a half hour early. However, we got some great pictures outside!

Another picture of us at the national mall with the capital building on my head.

This was probably Juston's favorite stop. It was the air and space museum. It was really cool to see the Russian things there. We found 2 Russian guys and Juston had a great time listening to their conversation.

So I can't figure out how to turn this picture... but this is me exhausted in the art museum... about a half hour into our day.

If you look to the right side you'll find Juston peaking through the window.

Saturday evening we had the opportunity to go to the temple. As we drove around DC all of a sudden the temple appeared in front of us. It is beautiful.

Even the little one was able to go in!

We decided to hang around outside after our session, probably the safest place to be at night in DC.

Before we left on Sunday we decided to stop at the Arlington National Cemetery. It was very moving to see the number of people that have died fighting for our freedom. Juston and I realized how blessed we are to living here.

This is just one side of the pentagon. Sorry it's kind of hard to take a picture of that :)
